Request statuses & what happens next

After you ask for an action plan, use the Requests filter on the Action Plans page to see who still needs to act.

These are the labels on the Action Plans list (and in the Requests filter). They are what matter day to day — not technical status codes.

What you see What it means
No response You asked for a plan, and the parent has not finished yet. The list shows an invite for that year, when it was sent, and whether AllergyAIDE or you contacted the parent.
Action plan received The parent shared a completed action plan with your institution. You can open and use it.
Action plan not required The parent confirmed that no epinephrine action plan is needed (for example, they chose NO in the Yes/No email). That is a finished outcome, not an error.
  1. You ask for an action plan → the student shows under No response (invite sent).
  2. The parent provides and shares a plan → Action plan received. — or — The parent confirms no plan is needed → Action plan not required.

“Invite sent” is not “plan received”

Section titled ““Invite sent” is not “plan received””

Sending a request only creates the invite. You do not have a usable plan until the list shows Action plan received. Keep filtering on No response until families finish.

On an open invite you can usually:

  • Resend (when AllergyAIDE emailed the parent), or
  • Cancel the invite if it was sent by mistake.

If a parent marked the plan as not required by mistake, use Reopen request on that student (when the button appears). That lets the family respond again.

AllergyAIDE documentation explains how to use the product. It is not medical advice.
