Manage shares and contacts
Sharing (main menu) is where you grant ongoing access to a child’s digital plan, signed plan, and — for some access types — the allergy reaction diary.
This is different from the one-time Share with school/camp step on an institution request. That request path is covered in Share with your school or camp.
Open Sharing
Section titled “Open Sharing”- In the parent menu, open Sharing.
- Review existing shares, or choose Add share.
Access types when you add a share
Section titled “Access types when you add a share”| Access type | Typical use | What they can do (summary) |
|---|---|---|
| General Access | Babysitter, coach, relative with a link | View the digital action plan (see limited vs general rules in DAP & PDF) |
| Physician Access | Your child’s clinician | View DAP; view / work with the plan; diary access as the product allows |
| School/Camp Access | An institution you choose to share with | View DAP and signed plan; diary access as the product allows |
Exact permissions follow what you select on Add share and any matching contact email.
Manage an existing share
Section titled “Manage an existing share”On the share list you can usually:
- Copy a link or QR (where offered)
- Remove / revoke a share when access should end
From a child’s profile Share dialog, turning General Sharing on or off also creates or removes general access for that digital plan.
Contacts
Section titled “Contacts”Open Contacts (and contact groups, if you use them) to store physicians, schools, and other people you reuse when sharing or asking for review.
Keeping accurate emails here helps Ask for review and Add share find the right recipient.
Three “sharing” ideas (quick map)
Section titled “Three “sharing” ideas (quick map)”| Situation | Where |
|---|---|

Section titled “Related”- Invite another parent/guardian (same account, not a share record)
- Allergy reaction diary
AllergyAIDE documentation explains how to use the product. It is not medical advice.
