Digital action plan, QR code, and PDF
AllergyAIDE gives you two portable forms of the plan:
- Digital Action Plan (DAP) — a web page with emergency instructions and a symptom checker, opened by link or QR code
- PDF — a downloadable / emailable file of the action plan for printing or offline use
Both are managed from the child’s profile (Share / Download PDF). This is separate from sharing back to a school that requested the plan.
Open sharing from the profile
Section titled “Open sharing from the profile”- Open the child’s profile.
- Choose Share (or the share control on the profile).
- Use the Digital Action Plan and PDF sections or tabs.
You can also open Sharing in the main menu — see Manage shares and contacts.
Limited Access vs General Sharing
Section titled “Limited Access vs General Sharing”| Mode | Who can open the digital plan | What viewers see |

| General Sharing | Anyone with the link or QR code | Emergency plan content with personal identifying details removed (for example profile identity and emergency contacts are not shown the same way) |
Copy the link or download a QR code
Section titled “Copy the link or download a QR code”From the Share dialog in the digital action plan:
- Copy link to paste into a message
- Download QR code to print or save on a phone/backpack tag
Download or email the PDF
Section titled “Download or email the PDF”- On the profile, choose Download PDF, or
- In the Share dialog PDF section, download and/or email the PDF to an address you control
