Digital action plan, QR code, and PDF

AllergyAIDE gives you two portable forms of the plan:

1. Digital Action Plan (DAP) — a web page with emergency instructions and a symptom checker, opened by link or QR code
2. PDF — a downloadable / emailable file of the action plan for printing or offline use

Both are managed from the child’s profile (Share / Download PDF). This is separate from sharing back to a school that requested the plan.

Open sharing from the profile

1. Open the child’s profile.
2. Choose Share (or the share control on the profile).
3. Use the Digital Action Plan and PDF sections or tabs.

You can also open Sharing in the main menu — see Manage shares and contacts.

Limited Access vs General Sharing

Mode	Who can open the digital plan	What viewers see
Limited Access	Only people you authorized (and your account)	Fuller plan details for authorized viewers
General Sharing	Anyone with the link or QR code	Emergency plan content with personal identifying details removed (for example profile identity and emergency contacts are not shown the same way)

Treat General Sharing carefully

Anyone who has the link or QR can open a general digital plan. Share it only with people who should have emergency instructions. Prefer Limited Access when you only need specific caregivers or providers.

Copy the link or download a QR code

From the Share dialog in the digital action plan:

• Copy link to paste into a message
• Download QR code to print or save on a phone/backpack tag

Download or email the PDF

• On the profile, choose Download PDF, or
• In the Share dialog PDF section, download and/or email the PDF to an address you control

Privacy

The PDF contains health information. Store it on devices you trust, and do not upload it to public websites or group chats unless you intend those people to see the full plan.
