Ask for an action plan

Administrators and staff can request action plans. You can request for a single student or for many students at once, and you choose how parents are contacted.

  1. Add the student (see Add & import students), or open an existing student.
  2. In the Ask for action plan dialog, pick the year for the request.
  3. Choose how parents hear about it (see the two options below).
  4. Confirm.
  1. Import or add your students first.
  2. On the action plan page, select the students you want (you can select a whole page or all matching students).
  3. Choose Ask for action plan.
  4. Pick the year and the contact option, then confirm.

A request is created for each selected student, and each of their parent contacts (Parent 1, 2, and 3) is included.

When you send a request, choose one:

Section titled “I will contact parents myself (recommended)”

AllergyAIDE gives you a ready-made message with two links — YES and NO — that you paste into your own email, newsletter, or learning-management system. Select Get action plan links, then Copy message (rich text or plain text). This is the Yes/No email; see The parent email with Yes/No links for exactly what parents see and how to send it.

Have AllergyAIDE email parents automatically

Section titled “Have AllergyAIDE email parents automatically”

AllergyAIDE emails every parent address on file for the selected students. The email has a single Create Action Plan button, and parents complete the rest inside the app. Use this when your roster emails are accurate and you want the fastest path.

Track each request on the Action Plans list — No response, Action plan received, or Action plan not required. See Request statuses.

AllergyAIDE documentation explains how to use the product. It is not medical advice.
