Proceed without review (camps)

Proceed without review lets you finish a camp action plan request without a physician signature first. You still create the profile, sign as the parent, and share with the camp.

School vs camp (important)

Do not use this for school plans

Plans signed with Proceed without review can be shared with a camp. They cannot be shared to a school (or daycare) in place of a physician-reviewed plan. If both a school and a camp need the plan, complete a normal physician review for the school.

When you see the option

1. A camp has asked you for an action plan (Yes/No or Create Action Plan flow).
2. You have created the child’s profile and plan.
3. You are on the child’s profile timeline while a physician review is still pending — or you choose not to wait.

AllergyAIDE shows Proceed without review on the action plan timeline when you are eligible.

How to proceed without review

1. Open your child’s profile.
2. Select Proceed without review.
3. Review the plan summary carefully.
4. Add your parent signature and submit.
5. Share with the camp.

Prefer physician review when you can

Even for camps, a physician-reviewed plan is stronger documentation. Use Ask for review whenever you have time, or if the camp asks for a provider-signed plan.

If you already proceeded without review and later get a physician approval, follow the in-app prompts for an updated review and signature before sharing with a school.
